The
1st Annual 2013 AUSTRALIA SUMMER LEAGUE
- February 26-March 12, 2013.
Prossin
Sports Management and Maxhoopskills.com
hosted the 1st Annual 2013 Australia Summer
League from February 26-March 12, 2013. We commenced the 2013
Australia Summer League in in Los
Angeles, California. We met from all
over the country and caught a 15 1/2hour
flight to Brisbane, Australia. When we
arrived in Brisbane we hopped on our 15
passenger van and drove up thw coast to
our first stop, Maroochydore, which is
located in an area called the Australian
Suncoast. After getting settled in out
condo apartments we proceeded to go
check out the atheltic center. They have
a nice self contained basketball
facility. However a few weeks earlier
there was a hurricane that passed
through and casued some damage. Some of
the windows on the upper level were
blown out and there was some resulting
damage to the bleachers. Otherwise the
gym was great. We had our first practice
and quickly saw the team chemistry
buidling.
The following
evening, March 1, 2013 we faced our
first oponent, The Maroochy Suncoast
Clippers of the Australia Queensland
Basketball League (QBL). We continued on
the 2013 AUSTRALIA SUMMER LEAGUE from
there laying in numerous cities within
AUSTRALIA, playing 8 games during the 11
