The
2nd Annual 2014 AUSTRALIA SUMMER LEAGUE
- February 25-March 11, 2014.
Prossin
Sports Management and Maxhoopskills.com
hosted the 2nd Annual 2014 Australia Summer
League from February 25-March 11, 2014. We commenced the 2014
Australia Summer League in in Los
Angeles, California and Dallas, Texas. We met from all
over the country and caught a 15 1/2hour
flight to Brisbane, Australia. We
arrived in Brisbane on February 27, 2014
and quickly we hopped on our 25
passenger van and drove up the coast to
our first stop, Bundaberg, Australia, which is
located near the Great Barrier Reef.
After arrival we got right to it and had
our first practice together. The
athletic center was great. One year
earlier the area had experience massive
flooding and it was about 10 feet
underwater; However, it was all repaired
and looking great by the time we
arrived. During our first practice
we quickly saw the team chemistry
buidling.
That evening
we returned to face our first opponent
of the 2014 Australia Summer League,
The Bundaberg Bulls of the AUSTRALIA
Queensland Basketball League (QBL). This
set us on our way and was a great start
to the 2014 Australia Summer League Tour
experience. Our travels took us to
Bundaberg & Rockhampton in the Great
Barrier Reef region, Maroochydore in the
Australian Suncoast, Ipswich (Brisbane),
Hobart & Ulverstone in Tasmainia,
Melbourne, Greensborough, Franskton &
Sydney.
