PROSSIN SPORTS MANAGEMENT Inc. (PSM) (www.prossinsports.com), GLOBAL BASKETBALL TRAINING  & MAXHOOPSKILLS (www.maxhoopskills.com) hosted the The 2011 EUROPE SUMMER LEAGUE DALLAS SHOWCASE on January 8, 2011 in RICHARDSON, TEXAS.

The Showcase included one day of training with FIBA  International Coach/Trainer Larry Daniels followed up the next day with a game between the PROSSIN SPORTS MANAGEMENT (PSM) ALL-STARS (BLACK Jerseys) and the DALLAS METROPLEX LIGHTNING (WHITE Jerseys), a professional team from Dallas who plays in the American Basketball Associaiton (ABA) & The United Basketball League (UBL). This highly competitive game was played under official FIBA rules and with a professional referee and it was played in four 10 minute quarters. The level of players was very good with some professional players and others who have recently finished their NCAA careers.

PSM All-Stars (108) vs. DALLAS METROPLEX LIGHTNING (USA-ABA) (113)

Darius Howard (BLACK #7) stood out as the offensive leader on the Prossin Sports All-Stars with 27 points. He also contributed with 3 rebs and 3 assts. Howard recently played overseas in Austria, Switzerland and Lebanon and is currently one of the team leaders on the Dallas Impact (USA-ABA). Habeeb Kareem (BLACK #66) also had a big game with 23 Points, a team leading 9 rebounds, 2 Steals and 1 Block. Habeeb and is also currently one of the team leaders on the Dallas Impact (USA-ABA). Ryan Kaminski (BLACK #28) filled the scoresheet with 16 Points, 5 Rebounds, 4 Assists, 2 Steals and 2 Blocks for the Prossin Sports All-Stars. Ryan has been training with the Frisco Legends of the NBA Developmental League (NBDL) as a practice player over the weeks leading up to this game. Jonathan Hudson (BLACK #54), a rookie Point Guard out of Texas A & M University who recently returned from a professional tour of Europe against top teams from Hungary, Finland, UK & Wales where he was named the tour MVP with 16ppg, 9apg, and 2spg., was also a big contributor to the Prossin Sports All-Stars with 17 Points, 5 Assts. He also lead the team with 4 Steals and added 4 Rebounds.

This game was tight throughout with the Prossin Sports All-Stars up 31-29 at the end of the 1st Quarter and the teams tied up 50-50 at half-time. The Lightning played a strong 2nd half lead by Joemal Campbell's (WHITE #3) 22 Points of which 14 were in the 2nd half. Joemal also contributed a team leading 8 Assists, 5 Rebs, 2 Steals and 1 Block to the winning effort. M. Gintmon (WHITE #10) also had a strong performance with 22 Points, 4 Rebs, 2 Assts, 1 Steal and a he added a game leading 5 Blocks. Dale "D.J." Perkins (WHITE # 1) contributed to the winning cause with 17 Points, 4 Rebs, 3 Stls and 2 Blocks to help the Lightning jump out to a 80-74 lead at the end of the 3rd quarter.

The Lightning's lead held up down the stretch and they finished the game with a 113-108 victory. The Prossin Sports All-Stars also received contributions from Kreston Martin (BLACK #15) with 11 Pts, 2 Assts, 2 Rebs and 1 Steal, Kelvin Williams (BLACK #48) with 7 pts. & 7 rebs., Tim Polley (BLACK #58) with 6 pts., a team leading 6 Assists, 5 rebs & 1 Steal. V. Gladney (WHITE #45) had a strong performance on the boards for the Lightning with a game leading 13 Rebounds and he added 6 Pts., a game leading 5 Blocks as well.
